Blaine and Lori have been working together to help men and marriages encounter the resurrection of Christ for more than a decade.

Blaine is a sexual addiction specialist who has helped thousands of men find lasting freedom from pornography and sexual brokenness. He is also a best-selling author and frequent speaker at conferences and churches nationwide.

Lori has served as a dental professional for two decades and assists Blaine in their work with married couples recovering from infidelity.

Their work at House of Resurrection was born out of Blaine's 20-plus-year addiction to pornography and sexual vice.

Not long after his colossal crash fifteen years ago, he was driving from Kansas City to Tulsa and heard a whisper in his heart.

 “I’m not going to give you a recovery. I am calling you into resurrection.”

In the years to follow, Blaine experienced a dramatic transformation in every part of his life. The old Blaine Bartel fully died. A new man rose from the ashes.

Out of this life-altering journey, Blaine and Lori developed the Katharos Model, which incorporates The Jesus Pathway to Purity.

Blaine and  Lori have four grown children and two beloved grandchildren. They enjoy anything that includes water, beaches, and boats.
