We believe the real work of lasting freedom from sexual addiction begins when a man walks out the door of House of Resurrection, and re-enters the real world. This is why we don’t abandon our clients at the end of each Intensive. We are on your “freedom team” for the next year. Here’s how.

The first eight weeks after leaving The Intensive are the key to your lasting freedom. You will engage in our 8-week Katharos Video Curriculum daily, providing practical tools and steady growth in your new life.

When you get home, your spouse (if you are married) will have a lot of questions and will need her own answers and support. Blaine is available to do a Zoom call with you and your spouse to give her answers and tools in her own healing.

The Collective is Blaine's ongoing training program for Intensive graduates. He hosts it on his online platform on Thursday night with about 10-12 men. This brotherhood is a powerful time of learning, accountability, and encouragement.

At some point in the year of aftercare, Blaine will challenge and equip you to mentor other men in your circle of relationships who struggle with porn and lust. Men who teach others learn twice!

what is house of Resurrection?
House of Resurrection is a non-profit residential healing center located 25 miles east of Tulsa Oklahoma that is led and operated by its founders, Blaine and Lori Bartel. It sits on nearly 10 acres of timber-laden property just minutes away from Ft. Gibson Lake.
how many other men will participate in each intensive?
We anticipate anywhere from 6-8 men to attend each Intensive. Studies have shown that group work in sexual addiction recovery is essential for success. Each attendee will also have personal counseling work with Blaine and his team of professional therapists.
How many men suffer a relapse after residential treatment?
Recidivism rates in the sexual addiction industry are alarming. 8 out of 10 men who attend long-term treatment programs completely relapse within 12 months. Our long-term success rates with men are over 70%. Blaine has seen many of his clients completely delivered from pornography and sexual compulsion in the first two months of their work together. But let’s be clear: Blaine asks each client for a full-on commitment to putting his training model into practice. If you fully commit to these practices, you will put unwanted sexual behavior in the past.
What makes Blaine’s therapy so unique and successful?

The most crucial time for successful recovery is not during rehabilitation, but in the 12 months that follow. Do I have to tell my wife about my struggle?
Blaine believes disclosure at some point to your spouse is an important step in finding freedom. However, the how, when, and where are critical. Blaine will help you understand and discern this process, but ultimately this decision is up to you.
Does Blaine work with women who suffer from sexual addiction?
He does not. However, Blaine and Lori host a Marriage Intensive at House of Resurrection that is focused on healing relationships after the pain of disclosure and betrayal.
What do I need to bring with me to the Freedom Intensive?
Everything from your accommodations to meals is provided. Simply bring your personal effects, both casual and work clothing. We will send you a full list of items to bring when you register.
How do I get to house of resurrection?
We are located just 25 miles east of Tulsa, Oklahoma near the town of Wagoner. If you decide to drive, we will send you directions to our secure and secluded property. If you choose to fly into Tulsa International Airport, you can either rent a car or we can provide limousine service there and back. ($100 fee)
how do your fees compare to other residential treatment centers?
You can expect to pay thousands of dollars for three days of treatment at most rehab centers. And that does not include any aftercare treatment. Your investment at House of Resurrection is just $1500, and that includes a full year of aftercare. Here’s why our fee is so low. We want to help families who cannot afford thousands of dollars for rehab. We can keep our costs low because of the many Patrons of House of Resurrection who support our non-profit work.
do you HAVE financing available?
Yes! We offer our clients a ten-month payment program to help spread out the burden of payment to just $100 per month, after the initial deposit of $500.
